We value our volunteers and have roles that can fit any age and lifestyle.
If you are considering volunteering here are some of our volunteer opportunities:
We would not be able to take on as many cats as we do without our wonderful foster families who open their hearts and homes to our rescues. Foster families are responsible for providing the animals with food, water, a litter box, and an environment for the cat to become socialized with people and other domestic animals. CCLAR will take care of the animal’s medical needs (spay/neuter, vaccinations, etc.) This is an especially good opportunity for someone who enjoys the companionship of a cat, but is not able to adopt one due to regular traveling.
If you are interested in fostering for CCLAR please complete a Foster Application.
If fostering isn’t for you we would also appreciate help with getting setup at our adoption events, distributing items from our fundraisers, designing materials for advertising, and many more activities. If being a utility player sounds more your speed, or you poses particular skills that you would like to show off by helping our rescue, please sign up as a general volunteer by completing a General Volunteer Application.
